Genuine Nissan Oval Air Box Lid Rubber Washer - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Oval Air Box Lid Rubber Washer - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

This rubber washer is located on the retaining stud for the lid of the oval-style airbox. It sits between the plastic airbox lid and the metal wing nut that secures it. The original washer is known to perish, crack, or get lost during filter changes, compromising the seal of your air intake system.

Without a quality washer, your airbox lid won't seal correctly. This allows fine dust, dirt, and water to bypass the air filter and go directly into your engine. This can lead to accelerated engine wear, poor performance, and potentially catastrophic engine damage, especially on turbocharged vehicles.
