Genuine Nissan Oil Filter Plastic Housing - Nissan Navara D23 NP300 M9T YS23

Genuine Nissan Oil Filter Plastic Housing - Nissan Navara D23 NP300 M9T YS23

This is the genuine Nissan plastic oil filter housing for the 2.3L M9T / YS23 diesel engine. Located on the engine block, this housing contains the replaceable oil filter cartridge. The original plastic housing can become brittle from constant heat cycles in the engine bay. It is also common for them to crack if over-tightened during a service, or for the threads to become damaged. A damaged or cracked housing will cause a serious oil leak, which can lead to catastrophic engine failure if not addressed immediately.
