Genuine Nissan Nut Lower Mounting Front Strut - D23 NP300

Genuine Nissan Nut Lower Mounting Front Strut - D23 NP300

This genuine Nissan nut is fitted to the lower mounting point of the front strut assembly. It is the critical fastener that secures the bottom of the strut to the vehicle's lower control arm or steering knuckle. This nut ensures that your front suspension is held together securely, allowing it to absorb impacts and maintain vehicle stability. Replacement is commonly required when servicing or replacing the front struts, or if the original nut has become rusted, damaged during removal, or has lost its self-locking capability over time.

Ignoring a corroded or damaged lower strut nut can lead to serious safety issues. A loose or failing nut can cause persistent knocking and clunking sounds from the front suspension, poor wheel alignment, and uneven tire wear. In a worst-case scenario, the nut could fail completely, causing the strut to detach from its lower mount. This would result in a catastrophic suspension failure, a sudden loss of steering control, and a highly dangerous driving situation.
