Genuine Nissan Lower Handbrake Cable - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Lower Handbrake Cable - Patrol GU

This Genuine Nissan Lower Handbrake Cable is located underneath your vehicle, running from the intermediate lever to the rear axle assembly. It is the critical link that transmits the force from the handbrake lever inside the cabin to the rear brake mechanisms, engaging the parking brake.

Over time, the original cable can stretch, fray, or seize due to constant use, moisture, and exposure to road grime. A worn or damaged cable will result in a spongy or ineffective handbrake, making it difficult to secure the vehicle when parked.
