Genuine Nissan Left Timing Chain Slack Guide - Nissan Patrol Y62 VK56

There is two guides for each chain (4 in total), This guide is for the SLACK side on the LH PASSENGER SIDE Chain. This guide has contact with the timing chain tensioner. This guide keeps the timing chain running smoothly and prevents excessive slack.

If this guide wears down or breaks, it can lead to timing chain rattle, poor engine performance, or even catastrophic engine damage. A worn guide can also cause the timing chain to jump a tooth, leading to severe engine problems.
