Genuine Nissan Hose Rocker Cover Breather - D23 NP300 Navara M9T YS23

Genuine Nissan Hose Rocker Cover Breather - D23 NP300 Navara M9T YS23

This genuine Nissan hose connects to the rocker cover of your engine and is a crucial component of the crankcase ventilation system. Its primary role is to safely vent excess pressure and gases from the engine's crankcase back into the intake system to be burned off. Over time, exposure to engine heat and oil vapours can cause the original hose to become brittle, crack, or become blocked with oil sludge.

A failing rocker cover breather hose can lead to significant engine issues. If the hose is cracked or split, it can create a oil leak, causing a possible fire hazard. If the hose becomes blocked, pressure will build up inside the engine, which can force oil past seals and gaskets, leading to costly oil leaks and long-term engine damage.
