Genuine Nissan Heater Fan Speed Resistor - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Heater Fan Speed Resistor - Patrol GU Y61

This genuine heater fan speed resistor is located within the vehicle's HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system, mounted in the air duct close to the blower motor. It is a critical electrical component responsible for regulating the speed of your cabin's interior fan. By introducing different levels of resistance into the circuit, it allows you to select your desired fan speed for heating or cooling.

This part is commonly needed when the original resistor fails due to heat and age. A classic symptom of a faulty resistor is the fan only working on the highest speed setting, as this setting bypasses the resistor entirely. You may also find that one or more of the lower speeds no longer function.
