These are an MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Gasket that goes between the Cylinder head and the Exhaust Manifold

It is Common for these to leak, which can cause funny squealing sounds, 
which is the different layers of the gasket Vibrating against each other.
Normally this happens as a result of a warped Manifold, So it is Highly Recommended to have this machined at the same time.
