Genuine Nissan Wheel Stud Rear - Nissan Navara D23 2015-2026

This is a genuine Nissan rear wheel stud designed for the Nissan Navara D23 NP300. It is fitted to the rear axle hub and serves as the mounting point for the wheel, providing the threaded post that the wheel nut tightens onto. This ensures the wheel is securely fastened to the vehicle's drivetrain.

Replacement is necessary if the threads have been stripped or damaged from cross-threading a wheel nut, or if the stud has been stretched or snapped from being over-tightened. A damaged or missing wheel stud is a serious safety risk, as it compromises the vehicle's ability to hold the wheel securely, which can lead to wheel vibration or, in a worst-case scenario, the wheel detaching from the vehicle.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Quality: Manufactured to OEM specifications, guaranteeing the correct tensile strength, precise fitment, and long-term reliability.
• High-Tensile Steel: Constructed from premium-grade steel designed to handle correct torque specifications and the demanding loads of on and off-road use.
• Precision Threads: Features precision-cut threads for a secure and positive engagement with the wheel nut, preventing loosening under load.
• Direct-Fit Replacement: Engineered as a direct replacement for the original part, ensuring a straightforward installation with no modifications required.

Installation Notes

Replacing a wheel stud is a moderate workshop job that requires the removal of the wheel and rear brake components for access. Specialised tools, such as a hydraulic press or a dedicated stud installation tool, are often required to correctly press out the old stud and seat the new one without causing damage to the hub. While replacing the stud, it is strongly recommended to replace the corresponding wheel nut, particularly if the old stud's threads were damaged. It's also good practice to inspect all other studs on the same hub for any signs of stretching or damage.
