Genuine Nissan Gasket EGR Cooler Adapter to Cooler - Nissan Navara D23 2015-2026

This Genuine Nissan Gasket is designed to seal the join between the EGR cooler adapter and the EGR cooler assembly. It is specifically for the Nissan Navara D23 NP300 models equipped with the 2.3L Twin Turbo M9T (YS23DDTT) diesel engine. As a critical component in the exhaust gas recirculation system, this gasket is essential for preventing high-pressure exhaust gas leaks.

Over time, constant exposure to high exhaust temperatures will cause the original gasket to become hard, brittle, and lose its ability to seal effectively. A failing gasket can lead to exhaust leaks, which may result in a noticeable loss of engine performance, reduced fuel economy, and potential damage to surrounding components.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Quality: Manufactured to exacting OEM standards using materials specifically designed to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures, ensuring a perfect, long-lasting seal. Cheaper gaskets often use inferior materials that can fail prematurely.
• Direct-Fit Replacement: Engineered to be a perfect replacement for the original part, guaranteeing a precise fit and straightforward installation with no modifications required.
• Restores System Integrity: Creates a reliable, leak-free seal in the EGR system to restore correct engine performance and optimal fuel efficiency.
• Prevents Leaks: Effectively eliminates exhaust gas leaks between the EGR cooler and its adapter, protecting other engine components and ensuring the EGR system functions as intended.

Installation Notes

Replacing this gasket is generally a straightforward workshop job, but access to the EGR cooler and its components can be tight. The task requires basic hand tools. A quality gasket scraper is also highly recommended to ensure both mating surfaces are perfectly clean and free of old material before fitting the new gasket. Depending on access, you may need to replace other gaskets or seals disturbed during the repair.
