Genuine Nissan Gasket EGR Adapter - Navara D23 NP300 M9T YS23

Genuine Nissan Gasket EGR Adapter to head - Navara D23 NP300 M9T YS23

This gasket is fitted to the vehicle's EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) adapter where it bolts to the cylinder head, creating a critical seal between components in the emission control system. This genuine Nissan EGR adapter gasket is engineered to form a perfect, gas-tight seal, preventing exhaust leaks at the connection point. This gasket may need to be replaced due to age, heat cycles, or during routine service of the EGR valve or cooler. The original gasket can become brittle and compressed over time, losing its ability to seal effectively.

Failure to replace a leaking EGR gasket can lead to significant issues. An exhaust leak in this area can cause a rough idle, a noticeable loss of engine power, reduced fuel economy, and will likely trigger the check engine light. Furthermore, leaking hot exhaust gases can damage surrounding components in the engine bay and create a hazardous environment.
