The CV (Constant Velocity) boot is a flexible, durable rubber cover that protects the CV joint from contamination by dirt, water, and road grit while keeping the essential lubricating grease securely inside. Over time, due to constant flexing and exposure to the elements, these boots can crack, split, or tear.
