Genuine Nissan Exhaust Manifold Gaskets Pair - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU 2001-2011 LWB TB48DE

This is a pair of high-quality Genuine Nissan exhaust manifold gaskets, designed specifically for the TB48DE engine found in Nissan Patrol Y61 GU models. This kit includes both the front and rear gaskets required for the TB48's two-piece manifold design. These gaskets create a crucial seal between the exhaust manifolds and the cylinder head, preventing dangerous and performance-robbing exhaust gas leaks.

Failed exhaust manifold gaskets are a common issue, typically caused by constant heat cycles, age, or overheating. A leaking gasket will often produce a distinct ticking or chuffing sound from the engine bay, especially on a cold start, and can lead to reduced engine power and poor fuel economy. While cheaper gaskets are available, they often use inferior materials that can't handle the heat, leading to premature failure and requiring you to do this difficult workshop job all over again. It is also recommended to inspect the exhaust manifold studs and nuts for damage and replace them if necessary.
