Genuine Nissan EGR Gasket to Manifold YD25 - Nissan Navara D40 2005-2015 & Pathfinder R51

This is a Genuine Nissan EGR gasket for the YD25 engine, designed to create a durable seal between the EGR cooler pipe and the exhaust manifold. Constructed as a MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) gasket, it provides a robust seal capable of withstanding the high temperatures and pressures of the exhaust system. This is a direct replacement for the original gasket on a range of Nissan Navara D22, D40 and Pathfinder R51 models.

Over time, the original gasket can become brittle and fail due to constant heat cycles, leading to exhaust leaks. Symptoms of a failed gasket include a rough idle, reduced fuel economy, poor engine performance, and can potentially trigger a check engine light. Installing a new Genuine Nissan gasket ensures a perfect fit and restores the integrity of the EGR system, preventing these issues.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Part: Manufactured to OEM specifications for a perfect seal, reliable performance, and long service life.
• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Construction: Built from layers of steel to provide superior durability and resistance to extreme exhaust temperatures and pressure.
• Prevents Exhaust Leaks: Reliably seals the join between the EGR pipe and the exhaust manifold to restore correct engine operation.
• Restores Performance: Helps eliminate issues like rough idling and poor fuel efficiency caused by a leaking EGR system.

Installation Notes

This is a direct-fit replacement part. The difficulty of installation depends on your mechanical experience and the accessibility of the EGR system components. When replacing this gasket, it is good practice to inspect the EGR valve and associated pipes for carbon build-up or blockages. You may also require other related gaskets, depending on the scope of your work. Basic hand tools such as a socket set and spanners will be required.
