This genuine Nissan handbrake adjuster is located within the rear brake assembly, specifically inside the 'drum' portion of the rear disc rotors. It is a critical component of the park brake system. This adjuster is used to set the correct distance between the park brake shoes and the drum, compensating for wear over time. It may need to be replaced if it has seized due to rust and corrosion, or if the threads have become stripped, making proper handbrake adjustment impossible.

On series 1-3 (11/2012 - 06/2017) this part needs to be purchased when replacing the handbrake shoes. As the newer model of shoes is slightly different to the older, no longer available size.

On series 4 models (06/2017 on) you do not require this, as this model comes out with this adjuster. Only need to purchase if yours is damaged or lost.

SOLD INDIVIDUALLY, you will need to purchase two, to do both sides of the vehicle.
