Genuine Nissan Double Row Timing Chain YD25 - Nissan Navara D22, D40 & Pathfinder R51

This is a genuine Nissan double-row timing chain designed as a direct replacement for Nissan Navara D22, D40, and Pathfinder R51 models equipped with the YD25 engine. Located inside the front of the engine, the timing chain is a critical component that synchronises the rotation of the crankshaft and camshafts. This specific chain is the upper, double-row version which connects the idler sprocket to the two camshaft sprockets.

Over time, the original timing chain can stretch and wear, which can negatively affect engine timing, performance, and in the worse can lead to pistons hitting valves. Replacing a worn or stretched chain is essential for maintaining correct engine operation and preventing further internal damage.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Part: Manufactured to OEM specifications for guaranteed fitment, performance, and service life. Using a genuine part ensures reliability for this critical internal engine component.
• High-Grade Steel Construction: Engineered from premium materials to withstand the extreme stress and high temperatures inside the engine, delivering reliability in harsh Australian conditions.
• Restores Engine Timing Accuracy: Eliminates slack from a stretched chain, restoring precise synchronisation for optimal engine power and efficiency.

Installation Notes

Please note: Replacing a timing chain is a complex task that requires significant engine disassembly and specialised tools. To ensure a comprehensive and reliable repair, it is highly recommended to also replace the chain tensioners, guides, sprockets, and seals at the same time.
