Genuine Nissan Door Check Strap YD25 - Nissan Navara D40 2008-2015

This genuine Nissan door check strap, also known as a door stay, is fitted between the vehicle's door and the body frame (A-pillar). It is a simple mechanical arm designed to control how far the door opens and to hold it in a set position, preventing it from swinging shut or opening too wide.

You may need to replace this part if you hear a loud popping, clicking, or cracking sound when opening or closing your door. Other signs of failure include the door not staying open on an incline or feeling loose and uncontrolled as it swings.
