Genuine Nissan Distributor Separator Plate RB30 TB42 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Genuine Nissan Distributor Separator Plate - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ TB42s Carby RB30

This separator plate is fitted between the distributor housing and the engine's timing cover on Nissan Patrols equipped with the TB42s carburettor engine or RB30 engine. The original plate's seal can perish and the metal can corrode, causing a persistent engine oil leak. If you're removing your distributor for any reason, it's smart practice to replace this plate to ensure a leak-free seal upon reassembly. Ignoring a leak here will make a mess of your engine bay and can lead to oil contamination on your belts, causing them to slip or degrade.
