Genuine Nissan Crush Tube Spacer Rear Diff - Nissan Patrol Y62

Genuine Nissan Crush Tube Spacer Rear Diff - Nissan Patrol Y62

This crush tube spacer is installed within the rear differential of your Y62 Nissan Patrol. It's a critical component that maintains proper preload on the pinion bearings. This spacer can become compressed or damaged when over-tightening the pinion nut or after extreme use. Replacing it is essential when rebuilding the diff or changing the pinion seal.

Ignoring a worn or damaged crush tube spacer can lead to excessive pinion bearing play. This will cause premature bearing failure, noise, and potentially catastrophic differential damage.
