Genuine Nissan Coolant & Glow Plug Temp Sensor - Patrol GQ GU Y62 VK56 TD42 ZD30 TB48

Located on the engine, typically screwed into the thermostat housing or cylinder head, the coolant temperature sensor is a critical component for your Nissan Patrol's engine management system. This sensor constantly monitors the temperature of the engine coolant and sends this vital information to the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU). This data is used to adjust fuel injection, ignition timing, and radiator fan operation for optimal performance and efficiency.

A failing coolant temp sensor can send incorrect signals to the ECU, leading to a range of engine problems. If you're experiencing poor fuel economy, a check engine light, rough idling, or difficulty starting your engine, a faulty sensor could be the culprit.

This sensor is on the later model GQ TD42 engines after August 1995 and all GU TD42 engines.
