Genuine Nissan Cleaned and Tested Fuel Injector YS23 - Nissan Navara D23

This fuel injector is a direct replacement for the unit in your vehicle's engine. Located in the cylinder head, the fuel injector's primary role is to spray a precise, atomized mist of fuel into the engine's cylinders for combustion. Over time, injectors can become clogged with carbon deposits and fuel contaminants, which disrupts this spray pattern and negatively affects engine performance.

If your Navara is experiencing symptoms like rough idling, poor acceleration, decreased fuel economy, or blowing excessive black smoke from the exhaust, a faulty or clogged fuel injector is a likely cause. It is also recommended to replace your fuel filter at the same time to ensure the longevity of your new injector.

Ignoring a faulty injector can lead to more severe and costly problems. An incorrect fuel mixture can cause damage to pistons, clog your Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), and ultimately lead to significant engine damage or failure.

Please note: This is a core charge item. A $100 deposit will be included in the price at checkout. This deposit is fully refundable upon the return of your old injector in a usable condition.

Installation Notes

Replacing a common rail diesel injector is a job for a qualified workshop or an experienced mechanic. The process requires careful work on the vehicle's high-pressure fuel system and a meticulously clean working environment is essential to avoid contamination. To ensure the longevity of your replacement injector and protect your fuel system, it is highly recommended to install a new fuel filter at the same time.
