Genuine Nissan Centre Exhaust Mount Rubber Series 1-4 - Nissan Patrol Y62

Genuine Nissan Centre Exhaust Mount Rubber Series 1-4 - Nissan Patrol Y62

This exhaust mount rubber is located just infront of the muffler on your Y62 Patrol, supporting the weight of the exhaust system and isolating it from the vehicle's chassis. Constant exposure to heat and vibration causes the original rubber to perish, stretch, and eventually fail. A failed mount will cause your exhaust to sag, leading to annoying knocking or rattling sounds as it hits the underbody. If left unfixed, it puts extra stress on the rest of the exhaust system, which can cause cracked pipes or manifold damage.
