Genuine Nissan Centre Console Rear Support Brace - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Centre Console Rear Support Brace - Patrol GU Y61

This genuine Nissan support brace is located at the rear of the centre console, mounting it securely to the vehicle's transmission tunnel. It provides the essential structural support needed to keep the console stable and rigid. Over time, and with the vibrations from on and off-road driving, the original brace can fatigue, crack, or break, leading to a loose or wobbly centre console.

If a broken console brace is not replaced, the centre console will become increasingly unstable. This can cause persistent and annoying rattles, squeaks, and vibrations while driving. The excessive movement can also put stress on the console's plastic mounting points, potentially causing more expensive damage to the console itself, as well as strain on any wiring harnesses housed within it.
