Genuine Nissan Brand New Flywheel - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU 1999-2012

The flywheel is a critical component bolted to the back of your engine's crankshaft, acting as the mounting point for your clutch and the contact surface for the starter motor. A worn or damaged flywheel is a common cause of driveline issues. They can develop cracks, heat spots, and warping from heavy use or clutch slip, and the ring gear teeth can be damaged by a faulty starter. Ignoring a damaged flywheel can lead to severe clutch shudder, poor engagement, and eventually, a complete clutch failure that will leave you stranded. A damaged ring gear can prevent your vehicle from starting at all.
