Genuine Nissan Brake Pipe Tube NON ABS - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

This is a Genuine Nissan brake pipe tube, designed to carry brake fluid from the master cylinder to the rear brake circuit. It is a direct-fit replacement specifically for Nissan Patrol GU Y61 models that are not equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). This hard line runs from the brake master cylinder in the engine bay to the distribution block on the chassis that connects to the rear brake pipes.

Brake pipes are a critical safety component and typically require replacement due to corrosion, physical damage from off-road impacts, or cracking at the fittings from age and vibration. Signs of a faulty pipe include visible brake fluid leaks, a soft or spongy brake pedal, and a dangerous loss in braking performance. Using inferior brake pipes is a major risk; poor quality materials or improperly formed flares can lead to sudden fluid leaks and complete brake failure. Choosing a Genuine Nissan pipe from Patrolapart ensures you get the right part with guaranteed material quality for a safe, reliable repair of this critical system.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Part: Manufactured to Nissan's exacting OEM standards for perfect fitment, performance, and reliability.
• Correct Material Specification: Made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant steel tubing designed to withstand harsh Australian conditions.
• Precision Engineered: Features correctly formed factory bends and flared ends for a direct, leak-free installation without modification.
• Safety Focused: Guarantees the integrity and performance of your vehicle's braking system, unlike questionable aftermarket alternatives.

Replacing this brake pipe is a moderate to difficult job that is best suited for a workshop or an experienced mechanic. The entire brake system must be properly bled of air after installation to restore correct brake function. You may require tools such as flare nut wrenches to avoid rounding off the fittings during removal and installation. Fresh brake fluid is essential for bleeding the system after installation.
