Genuine Nissan Brake Hose LHF Rubber - Nissan Navara D23 2015-2026

This is a genuine Nissan rubber brake hose for the Nissan Navara D23 NP300. It is located at the front left-hand (passenger's side) wheel arch, serving as the flexible connection between the rigid metal brake line on the vehicle's chassis and the brake caliper. As a high-pressure hose, its function is to transfer hydraulic brake fluid while accommodating the full range of movement from the suspension and steering systems.

Over time and exposure to the elements, rubber brake hoses can perish, crack, swell, or become physically damaged, compromising the integrity of the braking system. Common signs of a faulty brake hose include a soft or spongy brake pedal, visible fluid leaks around the hose or its fittings, or cracking and bulging on the hose itself. Replacing a worn or damaged hose is essential for maintaining safe and effective braking performance.

Installation Notes

This brake hose is a critical safety component. Replacement is a job of moderate difficulty which must be followed by a full brake bleed to remove any air that has entered the hydraulic system. You may also require fresh, high-quality brake fluid and new sealing washers for the fittings to ensure a leak-proof connection.
