Genuine Nissan Air Box Lid Clip - Nissan Navara D40 YD25 Thai MNT

Genuine Nissan Air Box Lid Clip - Nissan Navara D40 YD25 Thai MNT

This clip is a direct replacement for the clips that secure the lid of your air filter box, located in the engine bay. The original plastic clips are constantly exposed to engine heat, which makes them brittle. They commonly snap or break when changing your air filter, leaving your air box unsealed.

An improperly sealed air box is a serious risk. It allows unfiltered air, dust, and water to bypass the filter and enter your engine's intake. This can contaminate your mass air flow sensor, leading to poor performance and fuel economy, and can ultimately cause significant engine damage. Replacing a broken clip is a simple and cheap way to protect your engine.
