Genuine Nissan Air Box Clip - Nissan Patrol Y62

Genuine Nissan Air Box Clip - Nissan Patrol Y62

This clip is located on the air filter box under the bonnet and is one of the clips responsible for securing the lid to the base. The original plastic clips are exposed to constant engine heat, which can make them brittle and prone to snapping. They are also easily lost when changing an air filter out on the tracks.

If your air box lid isn't secured properly, it creates a gap that allows unfiltered air, full of dust, grit and water, to be drawn directly into your engine. This will bypass your air filter, causing accelerated internal engine wear, poor performance, and can lead to major engine failure.
