Genuine Nissan Flywheel to Clutch Dowel - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Genuine Flywheel to Clutch Dowel - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

This dowel is a critical component that correctly locates the clutch onto the flywheel. It is essential for maintaining the balance and alignment of your entire clutch assembly and drivetrain.

During a clutch replacement or engine rebuild, these dowels can be easily lost or damaged. Fitting a clutch without the correct dowel will cause it to be off-centre, leading to severe driveline vibration. This vibration will quickly damage the clutch plate, pressure plate, and spigot bearing, and can even lead to crankshaft damage, a far more expensive problem to fix. Don't risk a major repair for the sake of a small, crucial part.
