Genuine Nissan EGR Pipe & Gaskets Kit ZD30 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine EGR Pipe & Gaskets Kit - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU ZD30 Di

This EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) pipe is fitted to the driver's side of the ZD30 Direct Injection engine, connecting the exhaust manifold to the intake system. Its job is to channel a portion of the exhaust gas back into the engine to reduce emissions. These pipes are a common failure point, frequently cracking due to constant vibration and extreme heat cycles, or becoming completely clogged with carbon buildup.

A cracked or blocked EGR pipe is not a problem to ignore. A crack will cause an audible exhaust leak, loss of power, and can allow dangerous fumes into the engine bay or cabin. A blocked pipe will result in poor performance, increased fuel consumption, and can trigger engine fault codes and a check engine light.
