Genuine Nissan Diff Housing Centre Spring Washer - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Genuine Diff Housing Centre Spring Washer - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ Y61 GU

This is the spring washer located inside your front or rear differential housing, which applies correct tension to the differential hemisphere bearings. These washers are a common failure point, especially in high-kilometre vehicles or those that see a lot of heavy-duty use. When they crack or lose their tension, it allows for excessive play in the differential centre.

Ignoring a worn or broken spring washer will lead to a whining differential, incorrect gear mesh between the crown wheel and pinion, and can quickly result in catastrophic failure of your entire diff centre. Replacing this small part during a rebuild or service is cheap insurance against a very expensive repair bill down the track.

There is 11 of these per H233 sized Diff Housing.

There is 12 of these per H260 sized Diff Housing.
