Genuine Nissan Breather Hose TB42S TB42 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Genuine Breather Hose TB42S - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

This Genuine Nissan breather hose is located in the engine bay, the rocker cover to the pipe that runs forward and joins up with the front of the intake manifold. Fitted to the TB42S carburetor engine, this hose is essential for correct crankcase ventilation. The original rubber hose is constantly exposed to intense engine heat, which causes it to become hard, brittle, and eventually crack. A failed or split hose will create a vacuum leak, leading to a rough idle, poor engine performance, and allowing oily fumes to make a mess of your engine bay.

Features & Benefits

• Made from a quality, heat-resistant rubber compound specifically designed for the harsh under-bonnet environment.
• Direct-fit replacement with correctly moulded bends ensures a secure fitment without kinking or restricting airflow.
• Restores the factory crankcase ventilation system, preventing unfiltered air and oil vapour from entering the intake tract.
• Eliminates common vacuum leaks caused by a perished original hose, which helps restore engine stability and performance.
