This 50mm coil spring spacer is located on top of the front coil spring, inside the chassis coil tower. It is used to add 50mm of lift to the front of your vehicle, a common modification for levelling out a Patrol that is sitting low at the front due to the weight of a bull bar, winch, or dual battery system. It is also an effective way to correct the infamous 'Patrol lean' where one side of the vehicle sags lower than the other.
Ignoring a sagging or leaning front end reduces your ground clearance, negatively affects wheel alignment, and can lead to uneven and premature tyre wear. An uneven vehicle stance can also compromise handling and stability, particularly when cornering or on off-camber tracks.
We don't recomend using spring spacers as a way of getting a 'cheap' suspension lift,
Rather a solution to a problem ie: one sagging spring.
It is Important to make sure you have adequate suspension travel after fitting spring spacers, and that the spring and the spacer have re-seated correctly
NOTE: these may also be used in Nissan Patrol Y62 models on the REAR Lower spring tower. This 50mm spacer once you remove the factory 20mm spacer will work out to 30mm spacer in the REAR.
