Donaldson Oval Air Filter TB42 TD42 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Donaldson Quality Oval Air Filter - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 & GU Y61 TD42 TB42

Located within the air intake housing in your engine bay, this Donaldson oval air filter is a high-quality, direct-fit replacement component. Its primary role is to clean the air entering your engine, trapping harmful dust, dirt, and debris. An engine requires a precise mixture of air and fuel for combustion, and a clean air filter is essential for ensuring an unrestricted flow of clean air. You may need to replace this filter if it becomes clogged, which is a normal part of vehicle maintenance, or if it has been damaged.

Ignoring a dirty and clogged air filter can starve your engine of the air it needs to perform efficiently. This can lead to a noticeable decrease in power, poor acceleration, and a significant increase in fuel consumption. In the long term, it can allow damaging particles to enter the engine, causing premature wear on critical internal components and potentially leading to costly engine repairs.
