Coolant Temperature Sensor - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ, Y61 GU, Y62 & Navara D22 & D40

This is a high-quality replacement coolant temperature sensor designed to suit a wide range of Nissan Patrol and Navara models. Located in the thermostat housing or cylinder head, this sensor is critical for engine performance. It reads the engine's coolant temperature and relays that data to the ECU, which is essential for controlling fuel mixture, ignition timing, and glow plug duration on diesel engines. A faulty sensor can lead to a check engine light, poor fuel economy, hard starting, or inaccurate temperature gauge readings.

Product Features

• Provides accurate coolant temperature readings to the ECU for optimal engine performance, fuel economy, and glow plug operation.
• Manufactured to high-quality specifications for reliable fitment, communication, and longevity in harsh Australian conditions.
• Direct replacement for the original sensor, making installation a straightforward task. A new sealing washer and coolant top-up are recommended for a complete job.
• Important Note for GQ TD42 Owners: This sensor suits later models built after August 1995. Earlier GQ TD42 engines use a different sensor with a different electrical plug. Please verify your plug before ordering.
