Patrolapart Clutch Slave Cylinder Heat Shield - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Clutch Slave Cylinder Heat Shield For Nissan Patrol GU GQ

Manufactured from 304 stainless steel, this direct-fit heat shield protects your Nissan Patrol's clutch slave cylinder from exhaust heat. This ensures reliable clutch operation by preventing hydraulic fluid boil-over, a common issue in demanding off-road conditions. Simple bolt-on installation using existing slave cylinder mounting points. Comes with new fitting hardware.

Features and Benefits

• Material: 304 Stainless Steel - Offers superior heat resistance and durability without rusting like OEM shields.
• Attention to Detail: Incorperating a weld guesset to eliminate the vibration that causes the OEM shield to crack through the bend.
• Fitment: Direct-fit design for easy installation using supplied hardware.
• Design: New button head bolts lead to hassle free fitment replacing the OEM bolts where a 14mm ring spanner sometimes doesn't fit in the gap.
• Protection: Prevents excessive heat transfer to the clutch slave cylinder.
• Reliability: Eliminates the risk of hydraulic fluid boiling, ensuring consistent clutch performance.
• Improved Durability: Extends the lifespan of the clutch slave cylinder.

Application

This heat shield is designed to prevent premature clutch failure by mitigating the effects of exhaust heat on the hydraulic components of your clutch system. This is particularly beneficial in high-temperature operating conditions, such as prolonged off-road driving or heavy towing.
