Brake Proportioning Valve - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU Wagon 2000 onwards

You'll find this valve mounted to the chassis rail on your rig. It's a critical bit of gear that controls the brake pressure balance between your front and rear wheels, making sure you pull up safely and in a straight line. After years of copping a flogging from mud, water, and rocks on the tracks, the original factory valve can get seized, leaky, or just plain tired. When it fails, your braking performance goes out the window, which is the last thing you want when you're loaded up or navigating a tricky descent.

NOTE: This does not suit leaf spring utes.
