Brake Drum 270mm S1-4 ALL & S5 Leaf - Nissan Navara D23

This RDA Brakes 270mm rear brake drum is a direct replacement component for Nissan Navara D23 NP300 models. It is specifically designed to suit all Series 1 to Series 4 models, as well as Series 5 models that are factory-equipped with leaf spring rear suspension.

Located on the rear axle and mounted to the wheel hub, the brake drum is a critical part of the rear braking assembly. Brake drums are a service item that wear over time from friction with the brake shoes. Signs that a drum may require replacement include a pulsating brake pedal, scraping noises from the rear, or reduced braking efficiency.

Unlike cheaper alternatives that may use inferior metals and poor manufacturing tolerances leading to warping or cracking, this RDA drum is manufactured to high standards. Using a lower quality part can compromise braking performance and vehicle safety, potentially causing brake fade or uneven stopping. This quality component ensures reliable and consistent stopping power for your Navara.

Installation is a straightforward job for a qualified workshop or an experienced DIY mechanic. It is highly recommended to replace the brake shoes and the hardware spring kit at the same time. The wheel cylinders should also be inspected for leaks to ensure a complete and safe brake system overhaul.
