This bearing is fitted to the pulley on the front of your vehicle's air conditioning (A/C) compressor. It allows the pulley to spin freely with the engine's serpentine belt when the A/C is turned off, and engages with the compressor clutch when the A/C is switched on.

This bearing suits compressor in non-Nissan fitted air conditioning systems. Nearly all GQ patrols entered the country without AC, so it was fitted by dealers and random air conditioning shops around the country. The easiest difference is the pipes on the back. The aftermarket air models have 2 threaded pipe fittings, where the factory air models are held by a single bolt in the centre of the pipes. Specifically this suits PAP-1488 and CM5240J available in our online store.
