Patrolapart Battery Hold Down Clamp Complete - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Battery Hold Down Clamp Complete - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ / Y61 GU

This battery hold down clamp is located in the engine bay and is responsible for securing the main battery to its tray. The original clamp is prone to corrosion from battery acid fumes or can break from constant vibration, especially on rough tracks. A missing or broken clamp is a serious safety issue, as an unsecured battery can shift, causing its terminals to short-circuit against the bonnet or other metal components. This can lead to catastrophic electrical damage or even a vehicle fire, making a secure clamp essential for both safety and roadworthiness.
