Patrolapart Non Genuine Air Conditioning Compressor TB42 TD42 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

The air conditioning compressor is mounted on the lower left (passenger) side of the engine. Air compressors can fail due to age, internal wear, or damage from contaminants in the air conditioning system, and because they are mounted low, they are also prone to damage from exposure to mud, grit and other road debris.

This compressor is for a non nissan fitted air con systems. Nearly all GQ patrols entered the country with out AC so it was fitted by dealers and random aIr con shops around the country. The easiest difference is the pipes on the back. This one has 2 threaded pipe fittings where the genuine nissan ones are held by a single bolt in the centre of the pipes.

• OEM Specifications: Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable cooling performance, fitment, and longevity.
• Durable Construction: Built to withstand the harsh conditions of its low mounting position, resisting damage from mud, water, and road debris.
• Correct Fittings: Features the two threaded O-ring pipe fittings required for most dealer-fitted and aftermarket systems, ensuring a positive seal.

Important Notes:

• Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician, as it requires specialised equipment to safely recover and recharge the A/C system refrigerant.
• For warranty purposes, the receiver dryer must be replaced at the same time as the new compressor.
• The new compressor must be filled with the correct type and quantity of compressor oil before installation. Failure to do so will cause premature failure and will not be covered by warranty.
• This unit is slightly larger in the rear manifold area and may interfere with the engine mount on some vehicles. Please check clearances before finalising installation.
