76mm Gear Stick Extension - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

76mm Gear Stick Extension - Nissan Patrol GQ GU

This 76mm gear stick extension threads directly onto the top of your vehicle's existing gear shifter, raising the height of the gear knob for improved ergonomics. For many 4x4 owners, this is an essential upgrade after installing a body lift. A body lift raises the vehicle's cabin higher off the chassis, which causes the gear stick to sit significantly lower relative to the driver. This extension brings the shifter back to a comfortable and accessible height, making gear changes feel natural again.

Ignoring the low shifter position after a body lift can lead to driver discomfort and fatigue, particularly on long trips or technical off-road trails that require frequent shifting. An awkward reach for the gear stick can result in missed shifts and a less controlled, less enjoyable driving experience.
